What color are the leaves? Why do they change slower than she? What color is my hair? Why does it change slower than the bear? Yamamba as a bear is circling me I live in a small house on the side of a mountain with three sides of windows and Yamamba in the form of a bear is circling me From my left eye she’s thick as a boulder marvelous, bulging & from my right eye she’s thin as a tree hungry, hungry staring in at me & when I can’t see her she’s sleeping A year in the span of minutes Is this what it is to feel time as a tree? Or a rock or a river? Yamamba grows and shrinks before my window eyes What color are the leaves? Why do they change slower than she? What color is my hair? Why does it change slower than the bear?
